Société discrète, située à Seintheim en Alsace (68), elle conçoit et produit des 4x4 utilitaires à partir de véhicules de série pour ses partenaires que sont Peugeot, Citroën et Fiat. L'entreprise a annoncé hier la production du 5000ème Partner/Berlingo 4X4 depuis son lancement sur le marché européen en 2009.[/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b]

Automobiles Dangel existe depuis plus de 30 ans et a depuis transformé 37 000 véhicules. L'entreprise conçoit les pièces techniques dont le système quatre roues motrices quand les Peugeot Partner et les Citroën Berlingo arrivent directement des usines PSA.

Outre des transformations communes à tous les modèles (tôle de protection sous le moteur, augmentation de la garde au sol), d'autres modifications sont possibles. Plusieurs gammes sont proposées. La gamme « Trek » propose des modèles conservant la transmission 2 roues motrices d’origine, équipées en supplément d’un différentiel de pont avant à glissement limité (renforcement de la motricité globale du véhicule en terrains meubles, sur herbe mouillée ou dans les chemins boueux).

Les gammes « Endurance », « Performance » et « Extrême » proposent quant à elles des versions 4 roues motrices avec répartition automatique du couple moteur en fonction de l’adhérence. Les transformations Dangel sont facturées entre 5 800 et 7 500 euros en plus de l'achat du véhicule neuf.
